On January 3rd, the university announced the results of the 2023 annual student affairs assessment, and the College of Physics and Electrical Engineering was once again honored with the title of "Excellent Unit in Student Affairs" at Jiangsu University. As a result, the college has now been recognized as an excellent unit for four consecutive years.

In 2023, the College of Physics and Electrical Engineering focused on the fundamental task of moral education and human cultivation, adhering to a steady and progressive work tone with precise service. Following the guidelines of strengthening foundations, seizing key points, and creating distinctive features, the college continuously improved the effectiveness of its educational work, promoting the student education and management to new heights. The college won the Best Organization Award in the University's Career Planning Competition for Undergraduates and the Excellent Organization Award during the "Scholarly Conduct Building Month." For the class of 2023, the graduate employment rate reached 100%, the undergraduate employment rate was 97%, and the graduate school admission rate was 47%. One class received the title of "Provincial Advanced Class," one student was awarded "Provincial Model Student," one student was awarded "Provincial Outstanding Graduate," and one student was awarded "Zhenjiang City Outstanding Youth League Member." Additionally, one student each received the titles of "Top Ten Youth Students of the University," "Bo Xue" President's Medal, "University Outstanding Graduate Researcher," and "University Model Student," while two students were awarded "University Outstanding Communist Party Members," eight students were awarded "University Outstanding Graduates," and one student each received the titles of "University Inspiration Star" and "University Outstanding Student for Diligent Work and Frugal Study." Five classes were awarded "University Advanced Class Collectives." Students won more than 40 awards in various national and provincial competitions. Counselors received honors including first prize in the University Counselor Competence Competition, second prize in the University Student Party Branch Secretary Micro-Party Class Competition, second prize in the University Youth League Cadres Ideological and Political Skills Competition, third prize in the Counselor Informationized Teaching Competition, and titles such as "University Advanced Individual in All-Round Education," "University Outstanding Instructor for Summer Social Practice."

In the new year, the College of Physics and Electrical Engineering will continue to adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, implement the "Soul-Casting Project for the New Generation," deepen comprehensive reforms in "all-round education," steadily advance the construction of a "one-stop" student community, explore collaborative education between colleges and academies, and make greater contributions to the high-quality development of the university and college's endeavors in student affairs!
